"Railway Signal Lamp"

A railway signal lamp used on the Great Northern Railway. This signal lamp has amber and red glass doors to provide different types of signals to the approaching trains. The signal lamp was set manually and then hung out at the signal house so that it could be seen by the train driver. Part of the Pat Cassidy Collection.
