This photograph includes IRA leader, Matt Fitzpatrick (middle row second from left). Matt Fitzpatrick was killed during the Clones Ambush, 11 February 1922. A group of Fermanagh Specials, returning by train to Enniskillen, passed over the border during their journey. When the IRA went to arrest the Specials at Clones Station, shots were fired, resulting in loss of life on both sides.
