Portrait bust of an unknown gentleman. The bust made by Joseph Watkins (1838-1871) who was born in Lisnaskea and worked in Enniskillen before studying at the Royal Dublin Society's School of Modelling, and then in Rome. Later, Watkins returned to Ireland, developing a reputation as one of the most promising Irish sculptors of his generation. Sadly, his career was cut short by his premature death at the age of 43.
