An author and poet, Frank Ormsby is originally from Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh. In 2019, Ormsby was appointed as the Ireland Professor of Poetry to serve a three-year term at Queen's University Belfast, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin.
