Caption

Belleek Pottery produced a series of parian figures demonstrating a high level of skill and technique. Parian is the name given to white biscuit porcelain, often used in figure modelling. Its finish resembles marble. This figure is classically inspired: Venus was the Roman Goddess of Beauty.
