Caption
Riversdale House was a pre-1833 Georgian mansion, seat of the Archdale Baronets. It and its two gate lodges were demolished in the 1960s. This watercolour, painted in about the 1930s, is a rare view of the house and as such an important historical record. It was painted by the donor's father, Thomas Graham, a gardener for the Archdale family.
