World War One postcard; part of a series of three based on the song, "Soldier's Farewell", attributed to Johanna Kinkel. The postcard is addressed to "Mrs Kerr, Beagh, Derrygonnelly, Enniskillen". It reads: "Got all your cards to-day. All delighted with them. Papa is not going up on Thursday. But am sure that will be brisk bidding. Sorry we did not get to see us. Too bad about the pony. All well here. Hope you are all same. Love to all. Yours Annie." Posted from Strabane, 7.30pm, 17 January,1916.
