Dear Sir,//In reply to your observations about the Clauses of Draft Lease pages 2 & 17 I have to say that they are both for your advantage.//Without the latter, the Lease would be void, if the works stopped. With it the Mill may be idle for 3 months sufficient time to repair or change it to some other manufacture.//The new course of water may as you say fall outside of land marked on the map but I suppose this difficulty can be easily put right.//It appears to me that by the phrases of the draft the Landlord would be entitled to get the buildings, fixtures and machines at expiration of Lease.//Yours very truly//J Whittaker
