This wonderfully expressive gouache of Ardglass Harbour, County Down, represents links with
another major Ulster painter, Colin Middleton (1910-1980). The work was painted when TP went on painting expeditions in a horse-drawn caravan with Basil Blackshaw (1932-2016) and Colin Middleton.
