In the Jubilee year of 1450 (Year of the Indulgences), Tomas Og Maguire, chieftain of Fermanagh from 1430-1471, made the pilgrimage to both Compostela and Rome. On his return, Tomas Og may have funded some additions to his parish church at Inishkeen, including this limestone window bearing the scallop symbol of St James.
